Chemistry Masters Research Courses
Students who choose the non-thesis option will need to complete 3 hours of CHE 892 (Graduate Project) whereas students in the thesis option will need to complete 6 hours of CHE 895. Students who have completed 6 hours of CHE 895 but still require additional time to complete their laboratory research may take 1-6 hours of CHE 895C, which does not count toward the degree. Regardless of the semester in which these courses are taken, a grade of IP (in-progress) is assigned until the non-thesis report is finished and the comprehensive oral examination has been taken.
