Chemistry Masters Placement Examinations
The EKU Chemistry Department will use graduate placement examinations as a tool to promote success as one undertakes graduate study. Placement examinations will be administered to all incoming students. The examinations results will be used to place students into courses that are appropriate for the level of proficiency demonstrated on the exams. Students who demonstrate sufficient proficiency on a particular examination will be eligible to proceed directly into the graduate level core course for that discipline when the course is offered. Otherwise, preparatory courses will be prescribed so students can be most successful in the core curriculum.
