Chemistry Masters Admission / Application
The following are admission guidelines and steps that need to be taken for the application process.

Admission Requirements
- To be considered for clear admission to the MS Chemistry program you must:
- 1. Hold a baccalaureate degree in chemistry or closely related discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
- 2. Have an overall undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or of 2.75 in the last 60 hours.
- Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
Application Procedure
- 1. Apply online: www.gradschool.eku.edu/apply or by mail using the downloadable applications available on the Graduate School website or hard copies available in the Graduate School Office.
- 2. Pay $35 non-refundable application fee sent to the address indicated in the application form (first time applicants only).
- 3. Submit Official Test Scores directly to Graduate School: GRE and TOEFL (international students).
- 4. Submit official undergraduate transcripts directly to the EKU Graduate School Office.
- 5. Submit three letters of recommendation from current or previous employers and/or professors who are familiar with your academic achievements.

Application Deadlines

Domestic Students: two weeks prior to semester for which student is enrolling.
- International Students
- Spring Semester: Oct. 15
- Summer Semester: March 15
- Fall Semester: June 1

Note: For consideration for graduate assistantships all applications to the graduate school should be completed by April 15 for Fall semester. After submitting the application for admission, also submit the application for a graduate assistantship.
