Chemistry Masters Program

The College of Arts and Sciences at Eastern Kentucky University offers the MS in Chemistry with a thesis or non-thesis option. This program should provide each candidate with depth of understanding in several branches of chemistry and a background of theory in at least one area of chemistry sufficient to permit independent study and creative thinking. The research phase of the thesis option program should provide each candidate with the opportunity to integrate the use of modern chemical literature with fundamental laboratory techniques and thereby to arrive at the threshold of independent research.
