The EKU Chemistry Department offers B.S. (ACS-accredited), B.A., and M.S. degrees in Chemistry and serves over 350 majors between these and its other programs in Forensic Science, Biochemistry, Pre-Professional Sciences, and Secondary Education. The Department of Chemistry Forensic Science Program has been given full accreditation by the Forensic Sciences Education Programs Accreditation Commission. The department currently has ten full-time faculty, a departmental administrative assistant, and a lab manager.
